Gabrial McNair is a multi-instrumentalist, composer, producer, performer, and DJ whose career spans more than three decades across music, television, and live performance. Beginning his musical journey at the age of eight, he has collaborated with internationally renowned artists including No Doubt, Green Day, Lenny Kravitz, Smashing Pumpkins, Gwen Stefani, Elvis Costello, and many more.
Based between Norway and the international music scene, McNair continues to create across genres and disciplines, driven by a lifelong curiosity for sound and artistic expression.
Finding Inspiration Through Emotion
For McNair, creativity begins with emotion. Music, visual art, literature, philosophy, and nature all serve as sources of inspiration that shape his artistic process. A Career Built on Collaboration
Throughout his career, McNair has contributed to countless live performances, recordings, and productions. From touring internationally with No Doubt following the release of the multi-platinum album Tragic Kingdom to composing music for contemporary film and television, collaboration has remained central to his practice.
One of his most significant recent achievements is composing the original score for the Netflix animated series Brown and Friends, bringing his musical storytelling to a global audience.
